On Saturday, October 16th from 9 AM to 11:30 AM, Eva’s Closet will be hosting the free event Inspiring Hope and Resilience, a Virtual Community Forum on Mental Health.

October is National Depression and Mental Health Screening Month. This event is a great opportunity to learn and share insights with mental health professionals and community leaders from various agencies and organizations.

Topics

  • How to reduce the mental health stigma in the community and inspire hope and resiliency
  • How to talk about mental health with children and reduce the increasing rate of suicides among our youth
  • How churches and local faith-based organizations can partner with the community to address mental issues and concerns
  • How to get a mental health screening and find resources for mental health and related illnesses
