Eva’s Closet Impacts Community through Coat and Blanket Drive

Eva’s Closet helped to spread the warmth this winter. EC hosted a Winter Coat and Blanket Drive that made a significant impact to the community right before the big snowstorm hit Texas in February!

Eva’s Closet in partnership with Morningstar Missionary Baptist Church collected and donated more than 130 items to three centers for domestic violence victims and their children as well as homeless men and women. Lifeline for Families, Inc. of Grand Prairie, TX, received 18 children coats, 11 women coats, 13 blankets, and 12 items including gloves and scarfs. SafeHaven of Arlington, TX, received 10 blankets and 12 women coats. We donated more than 48 items (including 11 women coats, 15 men coats and 22 blankets) to Our Calling of Dallas, TX.
